CAS MENTORS NDA CADETS, INSPIRES NEXT GENERATION OF AIRPOWER LEADERS

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has engaged Air Force cadets of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, in an inspiring interaction focused on leadership, professional development and the future of airpower. In a mentoring posture, the CAS shared valuable insights from his experience, encouraging the cadets to envision their future roles, prepare early for the responsibilities ahead and remain committed to continuous learning and professional excellence. The engagement also marked a homecoming for the CAS, who previously served as Deputy Commandant of the NDA.

Providing a glimpse into the future they will inherit, Air Marshal Aneke highlighted the Nigerian Air Force’s ongoing investments in modern aircraft, technological innovation, specialised training and other capabilities required to meet contemporary airpower realities. He urged the cadets to understand these evolving demands and prepare themselves to lead and sustain a more technologically enabled, professional and mission-ready NAF.
