NITDA Holds 2026 HR Sensitisation Week for Administrative Officers
The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) continued its 2026 Human Resource Sensitisation Week and Professional Day Celebration at the agency’s headquarters. Day Two of the programme was dedicated exclusively to administrative officers, who play a vital role in supporting the agency’s day-to-day operations, coordination, and service delivery.
The session featured a workshop on the T-shaped HR competency model, designed to broaden participants’ understanding of the skills required in today’s workplace.
A keynote presentation examined the evolving role of human resource management in the digital era, highlighting the impact of technology, changing workforce expectations, and new ways of working. Mr. Sarafa A. Lawal, Director of Human Resource Management, formally opened the proceedings.
He emphasised that administrative officers’ responsibilities extend beyond routine tasks to supporting people, processes, and decisions that drive the agency’s effectiveness.
Lawal urged participants to continuously develop themselves, embrace technology, strengthen their professional competencies, and remain responsive to the needs of the agency and its stakeholders.
He encouraged active participation, questioning, and the sharing of experiences to maximise the learning opportunity, wishing everyone a productive and rewarding session.
