Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has pledged to provide a mobility bus to the Radda TikTokers Forum to support its activities, as the group assured him of its commitment to mobilising support for his 2027 re-election bid.
The governor made the pledge when he received members of the forum during a solidarity walk to the New Government House.
Governor Radda thanked Almighty Allah for the support and cooperation of women in the state, noting that he was pleasantly surprised by the scale of the initiative and the commitment demonstrated by the group.
“I appreciate this initiative and thank you for organising this solidarity walk. We will make arrangements to provide a bus to support your activities,” the governor said.
He also disclosed plans to facilitate the group’s participation in the flag-off of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s campaign council activities in Kaduna, expressing optimism about the success of the President’s campaign.
Governor Radda reiterated his administration’s commitment to youth inclusion and empowerment, stressing the importance of creating opportunities for young people to participate actively in governance and community development.
Earlier, the Leader of the Radda TikTokers Forum, Munirat Gwanda, described the solidarity initiative as a historic development in Katsina State, assuring the governor of the group’s readiness to mobilise support for his administration across the state, down to polling-unit level.
“We are fully prepared to support your administration, and our members have their Permanent Voter Cards and are ready to participate in the electoral process,” Gwanda said.
She appealed to the governor to provide a bus to facilitate the group’s movement across communities, while also requesting access to vocational training and skills acquisition programmes to empower members and promote self-reliance.
Those in attendance included the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, and other government officials and members of the forum.
