KATSINA STATE AT 39: GOVERNOR RADDA SALUTES CITIZENS, HIGHLIGHTS DEVELOPMENT PROGRESS

As Katsina State marks its 39th anniversary, Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, says the state is moving forward with purpose, and with renewed efforts to strengthen security, education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure and economic opportunities.

In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Governor Radda congratulates indigenes of the state at home and in the diaspora, describing the anniversary as a celebration of the resilience, sacrifices and contributions of generations of citizens to the development of Katsina.

He says his administration’s Building Your Future agenda is focused on bringing development closer to the people across the 34 local government areas, while creating opportunities for young people, women, farmers, entrepreneurs and small businesses.

The Governor acknowledges security challenges in some communities, assuring residents that his administration would continue to work with security agencies, traditional institutions, community leaders and citizens to protect lives and property and restore lasting peace.

Governor Radda calls on citizens, irrespective of political, religious or social differences, to contribute to the peace, unity and development of the state.

He also pays tribute to past leaders, traditional institutions, public servants, security personnel and citizens whose sacrifices and service have contributed to Katsina’s development since its creation.

The Governor assures that his administration would continue to pursue the Building Your Future agenda, complete ongoing projects, strengthen public institutions and expand opportunities across the state.

He prays for continued peace and prosperity in Katsina and wishes the people of the state a happy 39th anniversary.
