IDRIS HAILS APC MOBILISATION IN KADUNA, SAYS TINUBU’S REFORMS WILL DELIVER PROSPERITY
The Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has described the large turnout at the APC mobilisation rally held in Kaduna on Saturday, as a demonstration of support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing confidence that the administration’s reform agenda would deliver prosperity to Nigerians.
Idris said the turnout reflected the administration’s reach beyond regional boundaries, noting that people from different parts of the country had gathered in Kaduna. “Look at how all the people from all regions have all come here to see just one man, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.
The Minister acknowledged the challenges associated with the reforms but expressed optimism about their long-term benefits. “They know that there is prosperity at the end of the day. Yes, there may be challenges at this moment, but we are moving away from that. We are consolidating,” he said.
The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr Dele Alake, said the administration had taken difficult but necessary decisions to reposition the country’s economy, adding that the emerging gains of the reforms required consistency. He said, “Now it is reform to prosperity,” stressing the need to consolidate the gains and sustain Nigeria’s progress.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Public Enlightenment and Secretary of the Directorate of Media and Strategic Communications, Presidential Campaign Council 2027, Malam Abdul’aziz Abdul’aziz, said the campaign would highlight evidence of the administration’s achievements, including student support through the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and infrastructure development. “We are providing evidence to prove that the particular administration has done a lot and deserves to get re-elected,” he said.
