CAS JOINS LAUNCH OF ONLINE DISCOUNT SCHEME FOR ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, on Thursday, 24 September 2026, joined the Special Guest of Honour, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, CON, the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), General Olufemi Oluyede, and other Service Chiefs at Defence Headquarters, Abuja, for the launch of the Armed Forces of Nigeria Personnel Online Discount Shop. The digital welfare initiative is designed to provide serving and retired personnel, veterans and their families access to essential goods at preferential prices.

Formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding between Defence Headquarters and Zinox Group, the initiative underscores the Armed Forces’ commitment to enhancing personnel welfare through digital innovation and strategic private-sector partnerships. For the Nigerian Air Force, it further complements the CAS’s welfare-driven leadership approach, which places the wellbeing and quality of life of personnel and their families at the heart of building a motivated and mission-ready force.
