FRSC NATIONAL ROAD TRAFFIC ADVISORY

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) wishes to inform the general public and motorists that there will be a temporary one-day traffic diversion on the A2 Highway along the Kaduna–Zaria axis on Sunday, 6 September 2026, specifically at DK825, Kwaranza Village, at the intersection with the Kaduna–Kano Rail Line, between 0800 and 1400 hours, to facilitate the inspection of railway bridge beams under the Kaduna–Kano Rail Modernization Project.

During the exercise, only one lane of the dual carriageway will be open to traffic, with appropriate caution signs, cones and diversion markers deployed, while FRSC patrol teams will be on ground to manage traffic and ensure the safety of road users. Motorists are advised to reduce speed, exercise extreme caution, avoid overtaking around the diversion, plan their journeys and use alternative routes where possible, and strictly comply with all traffic control devices and instructions from FRSC personnel.
