IGERIA IMMIGRATION SERVICE CELEBRATES DISTINGUISHED CAREERS OF THREE DEPUTY COMPTROLLERS-GENERAL AND ONE ASSISTANT COMPTROLLER-GENERAL IN GRAND VALEDICTORY SESSION

The Nigeria Immigration Service hosted a befitting and grand valedictory session in honour of four of its most distinguished senior officers who have retired after 35 years of meritorious, patriotic and exemplary service to the nation.

2.The celebrated officers are Deputy Comptroller-General, Planning, Research and Statistics, DM Bagari, pcc+, Deputy Comptroller-General, ICT and Cybersecurity, A. Obianime, psc, pcc, Deputy Comptroller-General, Border Management, AR Sabo, pcc+, and Assistant Comptroller-General, in charge of Migration Directorate, AM Halliday.

3.The Comptroller-General of Immigration, KN Nandap, pcc, fsmn, who was represented by the Deputy Comptroller-General, Visa and Residency, FU Nwanneka, pcc, mni, PhD, eulogized the retirees for their outstanding leadership, uncommon dedication and invaluable contributions to the growth and transformation of the Service. She conveyed the profound appreciation of the entire Service and wished them a fulfilling retirement, resounding success in their future endeavours, and a peaceful, rewarding post-service life.

4.The valedictory session was a colourful, memorable and emotionally charged celebration of excellence, legacy and selfless service. The event drew an impressive gathering of top management, senior officers, family members, friends and well-wishers who came together to celebrate the remarkable achievements of these icons and to bid them a well-deserved farewell.
