KINGS CLUB MEMBERS VISIT LBSL MANAGING DIRECTOR FOR LEADERSHIP AND MENTORSHIP ENGAGEMENT

As part of activities under the Kings and Queens Club Initiative, members of the Kings Club from Adebola Baptist High School on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026, paid a meet-and-greet visit to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Lagos Bus Services Limited (
@Lbslng
), Mr. Idowu Oguntona, at the agency’s headquarters.

The engagement provided the students with an opportunity to interact with a senior public sector leader and gain firsthand insights into leadership, career development, discipline and positive masculinity.

Receiving the students, Mr. Oguntona warmly engaged them in an interactive session, sharing personal experiences from his career and leadership journey. He encouraged the young boys to develop discipline, remain focused on their goals, make responsible decisions and cultivate the right mindset from an early age.

The interaction also provided the students with an opportunity to ask questions and learn from Mr. Oguntona’s experiences, reinforcing the importance of character, responsibility and purposeful living in their transition into adulthood.

As part of the visit, the Director of Administration and Human Resources, Mrs. Evelyn Okodugha, led the Kings Club members on a guided tour of the LBSL headquarters. The tour offered the students a firsthand view of the agency’s facilities, workforce and operations.

The visit further advanced the objectives of the Kings and Queens Club initiative by connecting young boys with positive role models and creating opportunities for meaningful conversations around responsible masculinity, leadership and personal development.

Through engagements such as this, the initiative continues to provide young people with practical learning experiences that support their growth, character development and preparation for responsible adulthood.
