NATIONAL ASSEMBLY LEADERS EXPRESS SOLIDARITY WITH NAF FOLLOWING TRAGIC AIR CRASH
The Chairmen of the Senate and House of Representatives Committees on Nigerian Air Force, Senator Osita Ngwu and Honourable Kabiru Rurum, respectively, on 13 October 2026, paid a joint condolence visit to the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, at Headquarters Nigerian Air Force, Abuja, following the recent air crash involving NAF personnel.
The lawmakers conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the CAS, affected personnel and the NAF community, while expressing sympathy with the families affected by the incident. They acknowledged the sacrifices of NAF personnel in service to the nation and assured the Service of the National Assembly’s support during this difficult period. They also offered prayers for God’s comfort, strength and protection for all those affected.
