UHUNMWODE LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL CHAIRMAN APPOINTS COS, SLG, SA’s, CSO AND CPS

4th September, 2026

The Executive Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Council, Hon. Austin Imafidon (ISIWINA), has approved the appointment of the following :

1. Mr Ogiehor Ehis Tornado as Chief Press Secretary

2. Hon. Ighodaro Oziegbe as Special Adviser on humanitarian Services and Traditional institutions

3. Hon. Almighty Orhiakhi as Secretary to the local Government Council

4. Mr. Fola Odimayo as Chief Security Officer

5. Mr. Believe Orhiakhi as Chief of Staff

6. Hon. Nosa Omokaro as Special Adviser on Youth Development and community Works

The appointments take immediate effect and are aimed at strengthening the administration, enhancing effective coordination, and improving service delivery to the people of Uhunmwode Local Government Area.

Hon. Imafidon charged the appointees to regard their appointments as a call to service and discharge their duties with dedication, loyalty, discipline and commitment to the development of Uhunmwode.

The Executive Chairman congratulates the appointees and wishes them a successful tenure.
