FCT POLICE ARREST TOYOTA COROLLA WITH SUSPECTED FAKE PRESIDENCY NUMBER PLATE, COMMENCE INVESTIGATION.
On 26th October 2026, at about 2:35 p.m., following credible intelligence, operatives of the FCT Police Command intercepted and recovered a black Toyota Corolla vehicle driven by one Mr Agbogun Benard bearing Presidency registration number M01-997 FG to the FCT Police Command Headquarters for discreet investigation.
During preliminary investigation, the driver of the vehicle could not give satisfactory explanation as to the source of the registration number. Investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding its allocation, ownership and use, as well as the authenticity of the registration particulars.
The Command urges residents to remain law-abiding and promptly report suspicious persons or activities to the nearest Police Station or through the Command’s emergency numbers: 08032003913, 08061581938.
