GOV. ALIA ATTENDS BENUE 2035 SUMMIT, CHAMPIONS $5 BILLION INVESTMENT PLATFORM FOR PROSPERITY
The Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has championed the Benue 2035 Economic Transformation, Capital Formation & Prosperity Summit, themed: “From Potential to Prosperity,” describing the programme as a major initiative of his administration to transform Benue’s abundant resources and economic potential into investment, jobs and sustainable wealth.
At the heart of the programme is a bold $5 billion investment platform designed to mobilise public and private capital, attract strategic partnerships, stimulate industrial growth, create thousands of decent jobs, expand opportunities for youths and women, strengthen local enterprises and increase exports, while positioning Benue as a competitive investment destination.
Governor Alia highlights Benue’s fertile agricultural land, abundant water resources, mineral deposits, youthful population, strategic location and entrepreneurial potential, stressing the need to transform these endowments into productive investments, enterprises, jobs and wealth.
The Governor notes that the summit brings together investors, captains of industry, development partners, policymakers, entrepreneurs, academics and young innovators to identify bankable opportunities, forge strategic partnerships and develop practical implementation frameworks for Benue’s economic transformation.
Through Benue 2035, the Alia administration is creating a platform for stakeholders to identify solutions, develop bankable investment opportunities and establish practical frameworks for implementation. Over the next three days, the focus will be on turning the state’s potential into concrete economic outcomes and positioning Benue for sustained growth and prosperity.
Governor Alia emphasises that the success of Benue 2035 will not be measured by speeches, but by the investments attracted, industries established, jobs created, businesses expanded and the improved quality of life of Benue people.
He therefore calls on investors to invest with confidence, businesses to expand, youths to innovate and all stakeholders to play an active role in building a resilient, inclusive and globally competitive Benue.
