IGP DISU INDUCTED AS FELLOW OF CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT OF NIGERIA (CIPM)

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, PSC(+), NPM, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM).

The induction ceremony, held today, 24th September, 2026, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, recognizes the IGP’s exemplary leadership, commitment to human resource development, professionalism and administrative excellence in the Nigeria Police Force.

The President and Chairman of the Governing Council of CIPM, Mallam Ahmed Ladan Gobir, FCIPM, Fnli, while conferring the Fellowship honors, described IGP Disu as a reform-minded leader who has demonstrated exceptional capacity in people management, institutional transformation, and welfare-driven leadership.

In his acceptance remarks, the IGP expressed gratitude to the Institute for the honor, noting that effective personnel management remains central to modern policing. He pledged to continue to promote merit, capacity building, discipline and welfare of officers and men as critical pillars of a professional and service-oriented Police Force.

The Fellowship is the highest membership cadre of the Institute, reserved for distinguished professionals who have made significant contributions to human resource management and leadership.
