NAF SHARPENS LEADERSHIP EDGE FOR COMPLEX SECURITY OPERATIONS

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has strengthened its leadership capacity through a strategic management training programme conducted by the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (ISMN) at Headquarters NAF, reinforcing its commitment to operational effectiveness in an increasingly complex security environment.

Representing the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, the Chief of Policy and Plans, Air Vice Marshal Abdullahi, said the initiative aligns with the CAS’s key driver of Standardised Training and Mission-Focused Capability Development, emphasising that effective leadership remains critical to translating capabilities into operational success.

The ISMN commended the NAF for its professionalism and urged participants to apply the knowledge gained to enhance decision-making, institutional performance and mission execution in support of national security.
