NAF DECORATES PROMOTED PERSONNEL, REINFORCES COMMITMENT TO PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has continued to boost personnel morale and support career progression with the decoration of 40 Airmen and Airwomen with their new ranks at the 053 NAF Camp, Abuja, on Monday, 7 September 2026. Decorating the personnel, the Commander, 053 NAF Camp, Air Commodore Imoke, urged the newly promoted personnel to justify their elevation through greater discipline, professionalism, humility and dedication to duty. He described their promotion as recognition of their hard work and commitment to Service.

The ceremony is part of the broader personnel welfare and career progression drive of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, aimed at motivating personnel and rewarding deserving individuals. Similar promotion and decoration ceremonies have also been conducted for Junior Non-Commissioned Officers across various NAF units.
