POWA PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO CP ABIA STATE COMMAND
Today, 28/09/2026, The Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA), Abia State Command, led by its Chairperson, Mrs. Abigail Afolabi, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Wilfred Olutokunbo Afolabi, psc(+), mnips, JP, at the Command Headquarters.
During the visit, the Chairperson appreciated the leadership and support of the Commissioner of Police to officers and their families, while reiterating POWA’s commitment to programmes focused on family welfare, education, emotional intelligence, health, and community development.
In his response, CP Wilfred appreciated the visit and commended POWA for their continuous efforts and unwavering support to serving police officers. He emphasized the critical role of officers’ wives on the home front, urging them to continue to support their husbands and ensure proper care and upbringing of their children.
The Commissioner of Police further assured the association of the Command’s full support in ensuring the successful implementation of the mandate and objectives of the new POWA executive.
