Sunday, November 8, 2026
The Tinubu/Alia 2027 Campaign Council in Benue State, under the leadership of the Director General, Hon. Citizen Richard Asema, congratulates members of its campaign structures inaugurated across the 23 local government areas of the state, urging them to embrace the responsibility of securing victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
The Council says the inauguration marks a significant step in extending the campaign structure to the grassroots, following the inauguration of the state campaign council on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
It describes the development as a demonstration of the party’s determination to build a formidable political movement capable of mobilising support for the party across every part of Benue State.
Congratulating the newly inaugurated members, the Campaign Council charges the local government and ward team to justify the confidence reposed in them by demonstrating commitment, loyalty and dedication to the assignment.
It urges them to take the campaign to every ward, community and polling unit, engage meaningfully with the electorate and effectively communicate the achievements and programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia.
The Council further calls on members to place the collective interest of the party above personal considerations and avoid divisive tendencies, stressing that the task ahead requires strategic mobilisation, effective coordination, grassroots engagement and sustained commitment from everyone entrusted with responsibilities in the campaign structure.
While wishing the newly inaugurated members success in their respective assignments, the Council urges them to commence work immediately with the determination to deliver on the mandate, assuring them of the full support and cooperation of the state campaign leadership.
