HIGH COMMISSIONER OF NIGERIA ATTENDS THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE MAIDEN NIGERIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TRADE FAIR IN FREETOWN

On the 30th July 2026, Her Excellency, Ambassador Ayo Luther-Ogbomode mni, High Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Sierra Leone, attended the opening ceremony of the Maiden Nigeria Chamber of Commerce Trade Fair held in Freetown.

The event was officially declared open by the Honourable Minister of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Hon. Alpha Ibrahim Sesay highlighting the shared commitment of both countries to promoting trade, investment, and private sector development.

The Maiden Trade Fair provides an important platform for fostering commercial partnerships, showcasing Nigerian products and services, and strengthening the longstanding economic and bilateral relations between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Sierra Leone.

The participation of the High Commissioner underscores the commitment of the High Commission of Nigeria in Freetown to supporting initiatives that advance economic diplomacy, enhance trade cooperation, and encourage greater collaboration between the business communities of both countries.
