KAGARKO LGA CHAIRMAN ENGAGES YOUTH LEADERS, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO YOUTH INCLUSION AND DEVELOPMENT

The Chairman of Kagarko Local Government Area, Muhuyideen Abdullahi Umar, has held a strategic engagement with youth leaders and their secretaries from various villages across the Local Government Area.

The engagement, which was described as a massive success, provided an important platform for open dialogue on the concerns, aspirations and responsibilities of the youth, as well as their role in peacebuilding, community development and constructive participation in governance.

In his remarks, the Chairman emphasized that the youth remain critical partners in the development agenda of Kagarko LGA. He also articulated the message and vision of His Excellency, Senator

, Governor of Kaduna State, particularly the administration’s commitment to youth inclusion, empowerment, peace and sustainable development.

The engagement was attended by the Deputy Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Barr. Danjuma Magaji; Special Adviser to the Governor, Hon. AbdulRahman Ibrahim; APC Vice Chairman, Zone 3, Hon. Shehu Musa Tafa; and other relevant stakeholders.

The Chairman commended the youth leaders for their active participation, constructive contributions and commitment to the progress of their communities.

He called on the youth to translate the spirit of the engagement into action—by promoting peace, unity and responsible leadership; rejecting division and violence; supporting community development initiatives; and working collectively with government and other stakeholders to build a more secure, inclusive and prosperous Kagarko.

The Chairman reaffirmed that the Local Government Council will continue to create platforms for meaningful youth participation, stressing that the future of Kagarko is a shared responsibility, and the youth must take their rightful place as partners and drivers of its development.
